Marilyn Oliva is the founder and president of MPower Philosophy and a specialist in marketing and strategy planning. She spent more than a decade in senior marketing management positions for large international corporations in the New Jersey and Florida markets prior to launching MPower Philosophy.

Marilyn's broad marketing experience working for companies such as Citrix Systems, American Express, AT&T, and Research International helped her to understand the enormous need for a more CUSTOMER FOCUSED and STRATEGIC APPROACH to marketing. This knowledge, coupled with her natural creative skills, led Marilyn to develop an empowering approach that provides a combination of marketing assessment, research insight, strategic marketing planning, and marketing coaching appropriate for all types of organizations, regardless of size or budget.

Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Rutgers University.  She also holds an Associate of Arts degree from the New York School of Interior Design.

Aside from marketing, Marilyn loves practicing ashtanga yoga, discovering interesting people, anything artistic and traveling. She have traveled 14 countries and has seen 17 of Hillman's 100 wonders of the world. She hopes to someday have seen at least half the list.
