Vanessa has been in practice as a chiropractor for over eleven years, and a partner at Island City Chiropractic for the last two. Promoting a holistic, balanced lifestyle, she educates her patients and inspires them toward their goal of achieving optimum health. Vanessa utilizes specific chiropractic and stretching techniques to enhance joint mobility- alleviating pain, muscle tightness, and nerve-related disorders. With an emphasis upon proper posture, strength and flexibility, her goal is to assist in the restoration of spinal health and the prevention of future pain and degeneration. Vanessa is also certified in acupuncture and very passionate about nutrition, in which advice ranges from helpful tips to designing individualized programs for her patients to look and feel better. Many types of massage therapy are available, as well as educational lectures to your group or office.

Since moving to Florida from her home state of Maine in 1997, Vanessa has been active in the community. Current involvement includes the Oakland Park/ Wilton Manors and Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce, Women’s Executive Club, Wilton Manor’s Business Association, Toastmasters, and membership in her local and state chiropractic organizations. She intends on becoming more active in the future and volunteering within the community.
